Tourplan is an International software company formed in 1986. Tourplan is also the name of our main product and this software package was developed 18 years ago for one Christchurch based inbound Tour Operator. We now have over 260 clients in 40 countries with particular strength in UK, Europe, Australasia, Africa, Asia and the Pacific.
Tourplan is now the leading supplier of tour operator software in the World and Tourplan has been established as the leading software package. The key reasons for Tourplan's on-going success are:
- We are specialists - we only provide software solutions for tour operators.
- Tourplan has the flexibility to handle many types of wholesale travel i.e. Groups, FITs, packaged tours and ad-hoc itineraries, sports tours, events and scheduled coach touring in one fully integrated software package.
- Tourplan is a packaged product and therefore inexpensive to purchase and maintain. However we also offer a customisation service to cater for our clients' special requirements.
- We provide a very high level of training, service and support from our consultants and help desks. These staff have a minimum of 10 years practical experience in tour operations and accountancy.
- We constantly enhance Tourplan to take advantage of the latest software, computer and communications technology to the benefit of our valued clients. For example, in the last year alone, we have developed over 200 new features for Tourplan and three new fully integrated Internet Booking Modules covering all B2B & B2C requirements.
