Tourplan Version 2.07 Offers Tour Operators Total Package handling Flexibility - January 2009
The latest release of Tourplan provides tour operators with advanced facilities for handling optional and alternative package services as well as multi component services in group & FIT quotes and bookings.
Commenting on this new flexibility Tourplan CEO Mr. Peter Trumic says "this will revolutionise the way in which many of our clients do business and will lead to increased profitability".
The new functionality was driven by onsite work with several existing key clients to determine areas where the largest efficiency gains are possible.
A supplier connectivity framework is another key feature of 2.07, providing the foundation for dynamic pricing, dynamic availability and packaging.
Other enhancements include the ability to include services such as flights and hotels from external GDS and CRS systems, BSP reconciliation, improved web site and product content management and dozens of other new functions requested by Tourplan clients worldwide.
Tourplan Version 2.05 Released – June 2007
Includes a significant enhancement of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module to automatically record Pax travel history and detailed analysis designed for B2C operators. Also includes additional security and management reporting, extra night package pricing and enhanced tariff distribution features.
Two Major Australian Tour Operators upgrade to Tourplan Version 2.04 – July 2006
Two of the most significant Inbound and domestic Tour Operators in Australia (AOT Group and ATS Pacific) have upgraded their DOS V5 systems to Tourplan’s flagship Windows based Tourplan Version 2.04 package. Both companies have used Tourplan software very successfully for over 10 years.

Tourplan Announce iSconnect.NET - July 2005
iSconnect.Net is a revolutionary Tourplan product which heralds a new era for Tourplan users. iSconnect.Net will bridge connectivity gaps between systems, businesses, and applications currently dependant on Tourplan's iCom infrastructure. To date, many add-ons have been out of reach of Tourplan users who haven't been able to implement iCom's internet booking systems.
In December 2005 Tourplan will release iSconnect.Net. As well as bridging the gap for current non-iCom users, iSconnect.Net will provide a new foundation framework for all Tourplan users to be able to connect to customers and suppliers.
iSConnect.Net will immediately allow non-iCom Tourplan users access to the following add-on products and solutions:
Database-Connect
Ability to read and write products, rates and inventory to Tourplan's database. This system can be used in-house, by third party developers, and will be the basis of future Tourplan products, such as the ability to maintain rates via Excel.
Supplier-Connect
Ability for your suppliers to log in via a web page, add products, (typically specials), add inventory and special rates for nominated periods. Future Tourplan products based on this infrastructure will include the ability to electronically confirm (where supported by supplier systems), and the ability for suppliers to view forward reservations.
Tariff-Connect
Ability to bring rates from Tourplan into Excel, primarily for the purpose of tariff production or rates auditing. Several sites have used the system in recent years and consider it an amazing tool for completely simplifying what was once a complex and time consuming task.
iSconnect.Net
will also offer significant advantages to iCom users including faster transaction processing times for iCom bookings. iSconnect.Net will be released alongside the Tourplan iS Version 2.3 release in December 2005. iSconnect.Net is based on Microsoft's .Net technologies, which use web services to create a software architecture enabling interconnectivity between systems and ultimately businesses. Tourplan's iSconnect.Net is the first stage of an architecture that will evolve to allow Tourplan users to interconnect seamlessly with distribution channels, customers and suppliers.
iCom webConnect Ver 2.10 Now Available - March 2005
Tourplan releases Version 2.10 of their Flagship off-the-shelf iCom Internet Booking system.

New features include:
- Multiple room and Pax configurations for each service line within a booking.
- Searches for hotels may now be made on the basis of availability for a specific room configuration.
- In the Booking Itinerary you may now toggle “Show Pax Names” on/off to allow fast checking of Pax names per booking service line.
