The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) has announced Tourplan as one of the winners of its 17th annual Best Web Support Sites competition, a prestigious award that showcases excellence in online service and support. It is exceptional that Tourplan, a small IT company specialising in the Tourism industry has achieved this success competing against 40-60 heavy-weight IT corporations.
Alongside Cisco Systems, EMC, Google Adwords, IBM, McAfee, Microsoft Surface Support, PTC and Red Hat in the Open Division, Tourplan and Sirsi Dynix were named 2014 winners in the Small Company Division (annual revenues below $500 million). “Consultant support though our global office network has a tradition of outstanding quality and we are pleased to be recognised by ASP as extending that same quality into our online support services”, says Tourplan founder and CEO Peter Trumic.
Tourplan has 5 international offices housing 70 staff with headquarters in Christchurch, New Zealand. Tourplan develops, distributes and services its system to 300 major tour operators in 57 countries.
